Tokyo Sky Tree - new JTB Sunrise tour

24 jul 2012
JTB Sunrise tours unveil the new excursion to the new Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower in the world.

Located in the Sumida district, between Narihirabashi station and Oshiage station, Tokyo Sky Tree is now open, and Narihirabashi Station on the Tobu Isesaki line has been renamed Tokyo Sky Tree Station! The area at the foot of the tower is a brand-new commercial centre.

At a height of 634 metres, the Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in the world, and the 2nd-tallest structure in the world after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

The new JTB Sunrise tour with English-speaking guide includes a pickup service from major hotels in Tokyo, and departs from Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal at 09:00.

Travelling by public transport and on foot with the English-speaking guide, visit the Edo-Tokyo Museum and the Sumo Arena and museum, then end at Tokyo Skytree entrance floor (4th floor). A ticket to the main "Tembo Deck" observation area is included: at a height of 350m, this gives an impressive panoramic view of the city.

Because the tour ends at the Tokyo Skytree, participants have free time and (by buying an extra ticket at Yen 1,000) can continue up to the "Galleria" observation level, at 450m, if they wish.

Tour price: Yen 10,000 p/adult
Yen 8,500 p/child (6-11 years)
