Mobile phone hire

Many mobile phones used in the UK will not work in Japan. 3G phones should work, but those without 3G will not. To stay in touch, you can hire a mobile, to be delivered to you in the UK before you go (Adam Phones) or to be picked up at the airport in Japan on arrival (Telecom Square). In either case, the hire company can inform you in advance what the mobile number will be, so you can let friends and business contacts know before you go.
